The spodumene crystal is fully doubly terminated and free of any damage. At the top of the parallel twinned blade you can spot some quartz crystals, as well as along both prism sites. At the base you can see smaller spessartine crystals embedded in feldspar and muscovite, showing vivid orangey color. A great and rarely found association from the Mawi pegmatite area in Afghanistan.
