The piece discloses mostly natural surface looking like porous magmatic rock. Another part of the crystal was cut out and some crystalline fracture areas can be seen as well. The outer areas are transparent to translucent. The crystal emits a radioactivity of 5 µSv/h only gamma rays counted; this was directly measured in front of the counter tube. The biggest rough piece I ever have seen.
