Worldwide they have been found around 20 to 30 specimens most of them cut already, bigger crystals are rare and often cut into many smaller pieces. Cut stones can reach prices up to several thousand Dollars per carat. This crystal discloses terminated faces some with etched marks as well as some crystalline fracture faces. One side was a bit polished in order to measure the refraction in the gem lab. Looking through the polished side you can spot the flawless interior which is bounded by two small fissures. This part is very suitable for cutting. Depending on the direction you are looking at this stone you can see changing the colour from light pink to strong purplish-pink hues (pleochroism). A genuine rarity and a real crystal treasure!!!
