The whole crystal is translucent small Rutile and Mica crystals are attached at some areas. Striation and triangle growing marks and nice luster can be seen as well. Some areas look melted maybe due to some pneumatolytic process after epitaxy. A great fist sized ruby crystal with amazing color in transmitted light!!
