One side of the taaffeite shows a fine intact crystal faces. The other sites partly disclosing some crystallized areas as well also some part has been slightly polished in order to measure the refractive index. The blue spinel seems to be post-genetic. Here you get a very rare paragenesis of taaffeite and spinel include some intact crystal faces ! A rare and fine collector’s item!
