Very interesting, lean crystal from the Palelni mine. It seems that this crystal was already crystallized with reddish termination and afterwards the prismatic growth started again and schorl continued to grow until finally the top was again covered by a thin reddish tourmaline layer. The crystal striations and is only bented not interrupted! The final termination is inwardly hoppered but not damaged.
