It seems that this crystal was already crystallized with reddish termination and afterwards the prismatic growth started again and schorl continued to grow until finally the top was again covered by a thin reddish tourmaline layer. The crystal striations and is only bented not interrupted! The final termination is inwardly hoppered but not damaged.
