Several black spinel crystals embedded in the matrix, main constituent is spinel rather and not calcite. Matrix specimens are very rarely appearing from Sri Lanka! Here you get at least five single crystals partly undamaged. Nevertheless you get in rare and good preserved in situ specimen from this locality.
