This is a fine tourmaline cabochon made from a mushroom rubellite. The former seed (schorl) crystal is causing the blackish spot in the middle. Those cabs are from old stock nowadays you won’t find this translucent quality anymore. The cab displays beautiful luster and a pinkish bubble gum like (natural) coloration. Gorgeous piece!
