Only a handful of pieces of this mineral species have been found. This crystal shows partly gemmy transparency and is terminated although a few smaller damages are visible the major surface shows crystal faces. The base has been polished for identification purpose and the color is a light greenish blue. A comparison study with hydroxyl-herderite has been published in the American Mineralogist.
