This is an unusual radioactive zircon. The crystal or aggregate has geode-like shape with one round surface one face with radial pattern. This zirconium silicate is rich in Hafnium (7%). The radiation is caused by Uranium and Thorium content. The gamma radiation is 7 µSv/h and the total dosage is 20 µSv/h. Specimen should be handled with care
