Well this amber specimen is a real adventure under the microscope you get at least 5 insects, one cockroach like insect beneath the polished surface, another beetle like animal, two primitive flies and a tick all around 110 Ma old. Furthermore there are pollen, bubbles and insect legs inside. Great specimen! Burmese amber is different from other amber species it has more red coloration. It was first and named Burmite in 1893 by the german Otto Helm.
